   IS THIS PLAUSIBLE

IF NOT, HAVE A HEART, MENTALLY ILL PERSON NEEDS HELP. SUPPOSED TO BE TEMPORARY AND HAS ONLY GOTTEN WORSE.

I'M IN THE DARK HEREWITH THE OTHER DESCRIPTION ON OTHER POSTS. FINALLY HAVE A CHANCE AND DON'T NEED TO LET IT PASS. I'M USUALLY ILLEGIBLE

I thought this was an open and friendly advisable place to give and receive replies. If you read my posts and are ignoring a reply for any reason. SHAME ON YOU. I WILL FIND OUT WHAT TO DO ON MY OWN... I DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO DO THAT BUT THIS IS LIFE OR DEATH AND I CAN'T GET A SIMPLE SUGGESTION??? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU.

Hi Ben, I apologize for not answering sooner, this forum is something I attend to on my free time.  Here is my response to your post in another thread.  Please let me know if there is any additional information I can provide and I would be more than happy to help.

Hi Ben,

I think I can offer some input, just be informed beforehand that this information should not be taken as medical advice.

Lacking serotonin due to previous substance use can be a very serious issue when it comes to stability of mind and spirit.  5-htp is a great tool, make sure to take a green tea extract with it, and to take on an empty stomach to assure absorption.  When 5-htp is taken with food, or without an AADC inhibitor (Green tea extract does this), only 1% or so makes it to the brain.  The % is increased by a substantial amount with an AADC inhibitor, and is the only way I can recommend taking 5-htp to boost serotonin levels.  I recommend the caffeine free, 98% green tea extract from Meridian Botanicals here: https://meridianbotanicals.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=99&products_id=488

The rest of the ingredients in the supplement you listed all will help with anxiety and overstimulation, but one thing I should mention is that St. John's wort as an herb is 10x more effective than the supplement version.  This is due to the aromatic and sensitive nature of the compounds within the herb, which are often not present in extracted versions put into supplements.  It is like trying to encapsulate the aroma of fresh basil or rosemary, it simply cannot compare with the fresh herb, and the actives of St. John's wort are no exception here.  I have had great experience with the St. John's wort offered by Meridian Botanicals here: https://meridianbotanicals.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=65&products_id=249  Additionally, the following tea blend, 'Serenity Grove', which contains St. John's wort should also be tried.  The blend of herbs may convey additional GABAnergic type benefits that St. John's wort does not: https://meridianbotanicals.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=65&products_id=695

One last thing, avoid caffeine and stimulants like the plague.  You need your body to break out of a cortisol loop, and only prolonged rest and relaxation away from stress will do this.
